This gorgeous IndigoBlu "Flutterby" stamp just arrived in the mail a couple of days ago.  I needed a birthday card and couldn't wait to use this butterfly.

It works well with the Penny Black "Bare Tree" stamp and an old Hero Arts script stamp "Manuscript Background" that I still often go back to as one of my basic background stamps.  There is also a Crafty Individuals Faux Postage stamp in the background, but I purposely stamped it so it would blend into the background.

The butterfly was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink, dried with a heat gun and colored with Copic markers.  The "Bare Tree" was stamped by inking it with a Stampin' Up Early Espresso marker.  The script was stamped with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and the Faux Postage with Bundled Sage Distress ink that was stamped off on a piece of scrap paper first.

The background was sponged with a variety of green, blue-green and yellow-green inks.  The piece was matted on black, turquoise and emerald green cardstock before popping up the fussy cut butterfly with dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great rest of the week.
