The inside of the card is handprinted and says, "You've stolen my heart forever."
This week is my first time entering a challenge at HDH. It looks like everyone is having lots of fun with so many awesome projects submitted and such fabulous design team projects that I thought I would like to give it a try.
The prize this week is a $30 gift certificate for the Stampotique Originals online store. I don't have any of the fabulous Daniel Torrente stamps from Stampotique, but after learning about them on HDH, I did go over to their store website and of course wound up placing an order for a couple of their awesome stamps.
My project for this challenge is a Valentine card using the digital stamp "Heartless" from Mo's Digital Pencil, Penny Black's "Love Grows" heart and the spider from their "Hairy, Hairy" stamp. The roses are from the Inkadinkado's cling set "Hearts and Flowers" and the spider webs are a Tim Holtz Stamper's Anoymous stamp.
The girl and roses were colored with Copic Markers. The edges of the spiderweb stamped cardstocks were distressed with Tim Holtz Dusty Concord and Stampin' Up Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant inks. The roses were popped up with dimensional foam at two different heights and the girl was popped up on one side to give the card more dimension. The heart was heat embossed with Ranger's Black Sparkle embossing powder and then sponged with VersaMagic Rose Bud and Tim Holtz Distress inks.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend.
