World Card Making Day

It's World Card Making Day and I am participating in an official blog hop sponsored by Paper Crafts magazine.  Here is the link to the blog list.

Here is my card for the World Card Making Day blog hop.

Getting Ready for Christmas

The little elves are helping Santa get ready for Christmas by hanging up the "Merry Little Christmas" sign and the reindeer is giving one of the elves a boost up so he can reach the words.

All stamps used are from Third Coast:
Reindeer CO-066-J
Merry Little Christmas WS-091-B
Stardust Starry Corner Ch-92-G
Edward Elf ES-086-B
Edwin Elf ES-088-B
Edgar Elf ES-087-B

I stamped the sentiment first with Memento Ink, then colored with Copics. Stamped the reindeer and elves on a separate piece of white cardstock using a stamp positioner, colored with Copics and cut out. Stamped the starry corners also with Memento Ink and colored with Copics. Sponged the snowdrifts with Stampin' Up Baja Breeze Ink using a Post- It Note for a mask. Glued the elves and reindeer in place. Brushed Stickles on the snowdrifts and green areas of the starry corners. Matted the main image on dark red then light olive green cardstock.
I hope you got a chance to have some fun and make a card on this World Card Making Day.
