A kind of Poe style Halloween scenic card using several of Third Coast's stamps.

All stamps used were by Third Coast Rubber Stamps, with the exception of the grass (unknown stamp).

Tree of Dread - XL  VB-362-R
Full Moon - XL  CM-266-T
Stone Marker  ES-059-H
Crouching Raven  FA-177-DD

Techniques used for making this card include masking, sponging with dye and pigment inks and coloring with both Copic and waterbase markers.

When I added the face of the raven to the placque on the stone marker, I stamped it off first on another paper to make it look faded, like it is etched into the placque. Then I added gold gel pen around the edges of the placque  and printed R.I.P. on the placque.

I added white gel pen for highlights from the moonlight and used a torn Post-it Note to add dimension and shadowing to the ground.
The glow around Cindy Milliron's fabulous moon is made by increasing the depth and intensity of the blue as the ink is sponged in a circle radiating out around the moon.

The Poe sentiment is cut from a scrap of old Stampin' Up design paper.  The scene is matted on black and then a scrap of olive green splotchy design paper.

Thanks for looking and have a super last official day of summer.

This is a totally amazing scene with amazing details. I love the sponging and the backlit tree.
