Happileigh Scrappin' Challenge #38 - Brown, Yellow and Orange

It's the first Monday of September already and time for another challenge at Happileigh Scrappin'.  Chris chose the challenge this week.  With the beginning of September we start thinking about fall - football, back to school, long sleeves and sweaters, leaves turning color, cooler temperatures, fall flowers.  She thought it would be fitting to do a fall color challenge - Brown, Yellow and Orange.

Sunflower Happy Birthday

I used Happileigh Scrappin's Triple Sunflower and Sunflower images for this birthday card.  Both sunflower images and the computer generated sentiment are all colored with Copics, including the background, then they are matted on Stampin' Up's Early Espresso cardstock.  The triple sunflower is popped up with dimensional foam tape. The single sunflower and sentiment are popped up slightly higher with an extra layer of dimesional foam tape.  This gives it several layers and even more dimension.

There are several fantastic new images over at Happileigh Scrappin' this week including a cute Halloween Tatters dressed up as a ghost.  We'd love to have you join us for the challenge and come see all the fabulous projects the Happi Sisters design team made for this week.  Remember, if you use a Happileigh Scrappin' image in your project you are also entered in a second drawing as well.

Happi Labor Day to all of us in the US.  Have a great Monday, everyone.
