Happileigh Scrappin" #39 Autumn - Fall(ing) Leaves

It was my turn to choose the challenge for this week at Happileigh Scrappin':  Autumn - fall(ing) leaves, back to school, fall colors, fall holidays, fall flowers - anything that has to do with this time of the year.
Autumn Nights

Owl Be Seeing You
Owl Family
Log -Terry Toad Set
Pumpkin - Count Your Blessings Set

The logs are turned sideways for the trees, with ovals punched in them so two of the owls could be peeking out of the trees.  Cut out leaves from the owls' branches were added in different places around the scene.  The sky was brayered with dye inks using a punched circle to mask the moon. Then I took a wet watercolor brush and brushed over the sky with a bit of water to give it a mottled look.  I removed the moon's mask and sponged it with a bit of yellow and orange ink.  The ground is also sponged with dye ink using a torn edge Post-it Note as a mask for the hills and horizon. All of the images are colored with Copic markers.

We would love to have you join us for this week's challenge at Happileigh Scrappin'
Be sure to stop by and see all of the fabulous Happi Sisters Design Team projects for this week and check out several adorable new Christmas and Thanksgiving images added to Happileigh Scrappin'
