Falloween Cats - Designed2Delight Friday Challenge
It's the first Friday of the month and that means a new free digi in the progressive challenge over at Designed2Delight Digital Stamps. If you use this stamp in their weekly challenge then you will receive a new free digi next week.
Halloween is my favorite season for card making during the year. There are so many fun images for Halloween and this cute kittie was lots of fun to work with.
The Falloween Cat is printed in 3 different sizes, colored with Copic markers, cut out and popped up at 2 different heights with dimensional foam tape. The stars are made by printing, coloring and cutting out several different sizes of the stars from the cat's tail. The moon is made by punching a circle, then punching out part of the circle to form a crescent. I drew a string to have a star hang from the moon, just like on the cat's tail. The background is sponged using a scalloped circle mask with various shades of purple Stampin' Up and Distress Inks. The edges are sponged with a darker purple. The moon is sponged with yellow Distress Ink and the edges with orange Distress Ink.
Thanks for looking. Have a super week.
