Happileigh Scrappin' Challenge #35 - Keep It Cool

This week's challenge at Happilieigh Scrappin' is "Keep It Cool".  It was Starla's turn this week to pick the challenge, and she thought that since it is so hot in August, it would be fun to do a challenge using only cool colors - blues, greens, and purples.

Here's my card.

Splish Splash - Keep It Cool!

I used two Happileigh Scrappin' images - the water fountain Splish Splash and the flowers from Bee Bounty. The fountain is colored with Copics and matted on a piece of Tempting Turquoise Stampin' Up Cardstock.  I made the frame using DCWV design paper, Tim Holtz's Movers and Shapers Die - Mini Baroque to cut out the center, Stampin' Up's Ticket Corner Punch on the corners, and sponged some Peeled Paint Distress Ink around the edges.  I popped this up with dimensionals over the image and popped up the flowers in the bottom right corner of the frame. This is matted on Stampin' Up Always Artichoke and Pool Party cardstock.  I added Dark Blue Stickles to the flower centers and Waterfall Stickles to the waterdrops and dragon fly wings for the final touch.

Be sure to check out all of the great Happi Sisters Design Team cards this week at Happileigh Scrappin'.  Leigh has another wonderful new digi this week - and remember you can use any image you want to enter, but if you use a Happileigh Scrappin' image your entries will also be entered in a separate Happi Scrappin' Image drawing.  We're looking forward to seeing your "cool" entries for this week.

Have a great Monday.
